Harvest Day at Hampton National Historic Site in Towson 2023 is scheduled for October 21, 2023.

Harvest Day commemorates the day that communities would harvest crops and store them for winter. Hampton National Historic Site was once a large plantation, and relied on slaves to get through each harvest. Hampton commemorates Harvest Day with demonstrations and storytelling to share how life was at that time.

From 11am-4pm on 10/21/23, Hampton National Historic Site has many activities planned from Farm Tours, African-American storytelling and music, multiple corn-shucking contests, Mansion tours, and multiple programs like apple cider pressing, butter churning, old-fashioned toys & corn-husk doll making, blacksmithing, and harvesting tools.
