Maryland real estate market trends from COVID-19 are being put together by our MLS, Bright MLS. Here is the update for December 7, 2020.

Bright MLS current covers seven states, so there are statistics for a number of areas. There is a general overview for the entire MLS, and later there is specific state data.

Starting on page 21 of the Bright MLS multi-state report 12/7/2020, the Maryland real estate data shows the following:

In Maryland, the daily number of “New Active Listings” added to the market from 11/30-12/7 dropped from last week, but remained above new listings from the same point last year, and dropped along the same scale as last year.

New pending listings from 11/30-12/7 rose this week, also remaining above the same point last year, which it has since May 18.

Closings dropped dramatically last week, but remained above the volume from the same week in 2019.
