Coronavirus Maryland real estate market trends are being put together by our MLS, Bright MLS. Here is the update for May 25, 2020.

A reminder from past weeks’ posts, Bright MLS covers a large swath of states, so they have statistics for a number of areas, but then they drill down to specific state data.

Starting on page 30 of the Bright MLS multi-state report 05/25/2020, the Maryland real estate data shows the following:

In Maryland, the daily number of “New Active Listings” added to the market from 5/18-25 was on the rise, closing in on the same number of listings at the same point last year.

New pending listings from 5/18-25 are also on the rise, almost at the same number at last year at the same time, and actually surpassed the sales from last year on 5/25.

Closings appear to be slightly lower but along the same trajectory as last year’s graph.

The daily showing activity was up a significant amount over last year at the same time.
