The Maryland State Fair begins on August 25th and runs from Thursday evening through weekends through September 11, 2022.

Dates: 8/25-28, 9/1-5, 9/8-11. The gates open at 5pm Thursday and 9am Friday-Sunday each weekend & Labor Day Monday.

The Maryland State fair showcases carnival games, lots of rides, live thoroughbred racing, livestock for sale, a petting zoo, concerts and more.

Chick-Fil-A has a limited number of $5 off ride wristband coupons for certain days (This does NOT include the price of admission.) The website states that you have to visit your local Chick-Fil-A Facebook Page to get the $5 off coupon.

There is also a special wristband where fairgoers can pay to receive a wristband to ride an unlimited number of rides on specific days.

There won’t be tickets for rides this year, it will be a card or wristband only where you purchase a certain number of ride credits.

Admission for 2022 is $10 for adults, $8 for Seniors 62 & older, and $5 for children 6-11. Children 5 & under are free.

Parking is $15 on site, but is free at the Deereco Park & Ride. There are a number of private parking lots where you can pay for parking as well.
