Preakness 2017 is May 20.

There are activities through the week leading up to the big race, from Sunrise walks to pre-preakness parties.

Friday, May 19 is Black-Eyed Susan Day, with races throughout the day and special events.

There are races scheduled throughout the day on Saturday, May 20, and the 142nd Running of the Preakness is scheduled for about 6:45pm. The gates open at 8am, so arrive early if you plan to be at the Infieldfest!

The Preakness Infield is the place to be on Saturday, with Sam Hunt with special guest Zedd headlining.  A second stage has a number of shows including Good Charlotte, and there are games and activities throughout the day. Live music starts around 10am.
