The Washington Monument Lighting 2017 is Thursday, December 7.

The event starts at 5:00pm and runs until 8:00pm.

The actual ceremony starts around 7pm and the lighting itself with laser lights and a firework finale around 7:45pm.

From 5:00-7 in the South Park, there will be holiday crafts and photos with Santa.

There will be live performances throughout the evening.
