What area of your home should you upgrade if you are planning to sell?

Jason Oppenheim, from the television show Selling Sunset and one of the owners of the Oppenheim Real Estate Group, says that upgrading your kitchen will get you the most “bang for your buck” when you go to sell.

Jason said in an article in Homes & Garden that when he is doing minor kitchen updating to a home, he paints the kitchen cabinets, usually white. He replaces cabinet pulls (knobs, handles,) and replaces countertops.

He finds the biggest impact comes from fresh paint. Painting walls in the kitchen and elsewhere throughout the house can be really effective.
