Will there be a White Marsh Outlet Mall?

That is the newest proposal in front of Baltimore County, replacing one that had called for 1,200 residences, a 150-room hotel, and 1.2 million square feet of office space.

The White Marsh Outlet proposal has 566,130 square feet dedicated to the outlet mall, 250,000 square feet of office space, a 130-room hotel, and only 250 apartments. Thank you to Kevin Litten of the Baltimore Business Journal for the updated proposal plans.

The proposed location is at the intersection of 95 and Rt 43 — a very busy spot already.

I will be interested to see what changes will be made. I know a number of people who are concerned with the extra traffic this proposal brings forth, however, there are many less residences proposed now, which could help ease some of that. The difference would be that this would most likely be more transient traffic, instead of a regular, daily flow.
